Prolific singer, songwriter, and producer Rico Love sat down with The Feature Presentation to chop it up about his life and career.
Love begins by discussing a diss record three fellow musicians made aimed at the him before he blew up, and that the best feeling was finally finding success while they did not. “When people disrespect me I take it personal, because I’m really a nice guy,” he adds.
He then moves on to discussing his label and making a ton of money off his publishing company, but he also recalls only having $7 in the bank at one point, and praying that the next check he received would be enough to survive.
