“GuabanSexxx” By Rauw Alejandro Releases Storm & Sensuality

“I am the son of a cultural crossroads, and what a great blessing it is to carry this mix in my blood.” With thunderous force and ancestral reverence, Rauw Alejandro returns with GuabanSexxx. Inspired by the Taíno goddess Guabancex, the new single bends genres with precision—fusing House, Bomba, and Plena into a rhythm that is both sensual and storm-born. Following Rauw’s surprise cameo at Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican residency, he teased the release draped in custom Herman Nadal designs that nodded to his heritage and album concept. Rauw, recently honored with the Hispanic Heritage Award for Vision, dedicated the moment to the Hispanic community worldwide:

This award is for all Hispanics: those mothers and fathers, those grandparents who struggle day by day… Proud to be Puerto Rican, to have been born in the Caribbean: This is Cosa Nuestra!

From his highly anticipated sixth studio album Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0, the track arrives with a striking video, continues Cosa Nuestra origin story. The project is rooted in Afro-Caribbean rhythms and Puerto Rican bomba as an eternal journey of memory, blood, and sound. With 14 Billboard Latin Music Award nominations this year, Rauw continues to prove why Rolling Stone hails him as “Latin music’s greatest showman.” Let us know your thoughts on the new video for “GuabanSexxx” and prepare for the arrival of “Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0.” Follow Rauw Alejandro on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
