Kansas City Artist & Producer Thouwow Drops New Visual for “St. Lucia”

Kansas City artist Thouwow is continuing his transition from DJ booths to center stage with the release of his latest music video, “St. Lucia.” Before focusing on his own records, Thouwow built a reputation as a household-name DJ throughout Kansas City, earning recognition within the city’s nightlife and music scene. Now he’s channeling that experience into his growing career as a recording artist. The visual for “St. Lucia” presents a blend of lifestyle storytelling and performance-driven moments. In the video, Thouwow texts his girl before picking her up in a black truck, with the pair heading toward the airport—a visual nod to the song’s theme of getting away, echoed in the line “let’s take a trip to St. Lucia.” Throughout the video, cinematic B-roll and everyday moments are layered between shots of Thouwow performing directly to the camera, giving the visual a natural day-in-the-life feel while still highlighting his presence as an artist. Over the past year, Thouwow has been expanding his reach across Missouri with one-mic performances, regional press coverage, and a consistent stream of releases, helping him build an audience that stretches from Kansas City to St. Louis. “St. Lucia” adds another chapter to that run, offering a look into both the artist’s lifestyle and the direction of his evolving sound.
