Ali Larter has gone red! The actress debuted a brand new fiery hue on Instagram Tuesday — and she looks amazing.

The star left behind her signature blonde strands in favor of the glossy red shade to prepare for her the reprisal of her role as Claire Redfield in the final installment of the Resident Evil film franchise.
“My love for this girl is next level. I’ve been working with @traceycunningham1 for over 10 years. She is so sweet, unbelievably generous, and crazy talented,” she said of celebrity hair colorist Tracey Cunningham, of Mèche Salon, who was the mastermind behind the dye job. “This is the 3rd time she has taken me red to play #claireredfield from Mexico to Toronto to Capetown lady! Xxxx.”
Cunningham, who has been working with Larter for 15 years, was also the colorist behind the star’s red hue in the two previous Resident Evil films.

Larter continued to show off her fiery shade in a series of fun snapshots on Instagram, and from the looks of it, we’re guessing she’s loving the switch-up.
