Beyonce Shows Serena Some Love

Serena Williams became the oldest woman to win the French Open this week, when she took home the crown at the age of 31. Williams has a lengthy list of accomplishments over her storied career, and this one was certainly one of the sweetest. With the world praising the superstar, another pop culture icon decided to show Serena some love.

Pop singer Beyonce issued a friendly thumbs up to Williams via a letter that surfaced online this week.

“Stunt on them Serena. 31 and in your prime,” Bey wrote. “You have no idea how much you inspire all of us women. Im so proud of you. All my Love and Respect. Beyoncé”
