Beyoncé Wears a Custom Cape on Her Beach Vacation

Some stars wear heels to the beach. Some stars wear diamonds. Beyoncé tops them all by wearing a cape made just for her.

The diva (which, you will remember, is the female version of a hustler) has been vacationing in and around Monaco with husband Jay Z and 3-year-old daughter Blue Ivy. And truly, every outfit has been more fabulous than the last; there have been a number of glam hats, chic sunglasses and flowing animal-print skirts.

But one outfit topped them all, and it was the gold-trimmed cape/top combo she wore in Monaco. Not content to just wear any old beach cover up, the star donned a customized version of BCBGMaxAzria’s “Upas” cape to coordinate with her custom Hervé Léger by Max Azria top. (The cape starts at $248 before it gets custom-glittered; the shirt is on sale from $1,240.)

Jay Z didn’t let her down in the style department, either; the rapper looked sharp in a gray summer suit and pocket square. But try as he might, he just can’t compete with a star so committed to her travel wardrobe, she gets her vacation capes customized just for her.
