According to TMZ, superstar Beyonce Knowles’ father Mathew is behind on child support to the tune of 32,135.90, causing the mother of his young son to support the family using public assistance and food stamps.
Knowles had an affair with actress Alexsandra Wright back in 2009 while still married to Beyonce and Solange’s mother, Tina. The 18 month affair resulted in the birth of son Nixon, whom Knowles initially denied but was proven to be his son through DNA testing. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the courts mandated that Knowles dish out $12,000 a month in child support.
Sources close to Wright allegedly told TMZ that she has had to pull Nixon out of private school and has resorted to receiving government assistance, getting $300 a month through the EBT program. The allegedly delinquent dad blames a clerical error within the court system for the late payments to Wright.
