The London-based Business of Fashion is now adding free online fashion courses to their education section.
Along with ranking fashion schools, the online fashion courses will be a mix of articles and videos on a variety of topics. The first three online courses focus on Fashion Business Basics, Fashion Marketing and Fashion History and Entrepreneurship.
According to Fashionista, CEO Imran Amed, who teaches fashion business at Central Saint Martins, and other contributors will be focusing on educating those who are looking to start their own fashion company.
“We hope that BoF Education will aid prospective students in making informed choices about pursuing higher education in fashion; act as a tool for universities and colleges to improve their education offerings; and serve as a resource for the wider industry to engage in a discussion about the critical importance of fashion education,” said Amed in a statement.
The best part: all the courses are free thanks to sponsors such as River Island and The Communications Store. The courses last about an hour and a half, and all you need to do to “enroll” is sign up for the site’s newsletter.
So what are you waiting for? Your fashion future is one click away.
