The backlash against Beyonce’s single “Bow Down/I Been On” was rather intense, and everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Keyshia Cole has voiced disdain for the superstar’s latest track. The Grio asked R&B singer Brandy how she felt about Beyonce’s controversial song and she revealed that she also isn’t feeling “gangsta Bey.” “I think art is freedom. You should be able to express yourself the way you choose to express yourself,” Brandy said. “Of course people are gonna have their own opinion, but opinion is opinion,” said the singer. “I don’t love the song. But I love Beyoncé. I just have to be honest.” |
