Emmys 2015: Felicity Huffman, Elisabeth Moss and More Stars Who Debuted Hair Changes

While most stars probably prepared for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards by practicing their acceptance speeches, zipping up their gowns, and painting on some photo-ready makeup, a brave few decided that wasn’t enough. Felicity Huffman, Elisabeth Moss, and Amy Poehler also spent some time at the salon, because each of these actresses debuted dramatically different hair colors on the Emmys red carpet.

Huffman, star of American Crime, traded her familiar sandy blonde locks for a chestnut brown. “I love it,” Huffman’s husband William H. Macy said of his wife’s hair at Showtime’s “Emmy Eve” party. “I feel like I’m cheating on my wife. I come into the kitchen, I don’t know who she is.” Macy told reporters that Huffman dyed her hair for American Crime.

Elisabeth Moss of Mad Men, on the other hand, went bright blonde, pairing her new hair with a magenta dress, perhaps channeling a certain California babe named Barbie.

Finally, Amy Poehler attended her last Emmys as a Parks and Recreation star with medium-brown waves that lightened faintly into a very subtle, light-brown ombré. Of course, later, she hid her fabulous new hair in a hoodie to show how much she didn’t care about not going home with a trophy:
