Cortez vs K-Shine has been a battle with a great amount of history behind it. The two crews, Murda Ave and Dot Mob, have been competing against one another lyrically for a while now and fans have been waiting to see Cortez face K-Shine, and at the recent Empire Battle League event fans finally got what they’ve been waiting for.
Cortez kicked off the battle in the first round, and took a while to start cooking up before he was able to earn a fair amount of crowd reaction. K-Shine started off with high energy and had the crowd cheering early on and also received a nice amount of “Don Demarco’s” for his punchlines. Cortez kicked up as the battle carried on to the crowd’s approval, and also earn himself a large amount of victory votes from fan comments on YouTube.
