Exclusive! Bridget Kelly Votes on Kendrick Lamar vs Macklemore (@iambridgetkelly)

We caught up with R&B singer Bridget Kelly on the red carpet at the Revolt TV launch, and after detailing the new music she’s got in the works, Bridget weighed in on who deserves a Grammy for best rap album more: Kendrick Lamar or Macklemore.

“Kendrick, hands down,” she immediately responded, before adding, “No shade to Macklemore — he’s incredibly talented, he speaks a very powerful message. But overall, Kendrick just embodies what hip hop was in the very beginning and really where it needs to go.”
