Exclusive! Shyne Talks Being Compared to Biggie (Throwback) (@originalshyne)

In this throwback clip from 92.3 The Beat’s DJ Julio G, Shyne recalls how early in his career his rap style was compared to that of Biggie, and it wasn’t until he hopped in the studio that he really discovered his own sound.

“When I went in the studio, it was just, like, finding myself,” Shyne explains. “I was trying to put my game down and get my mind right, and at the end of the day I came with ‘Bad Boyz’ and that was me, after I found myself, ” he adds, referring to his hit song.
