Future Islands have shared the video for “A Song for Our Grandfathers” from 2014’s Singles. Jay Buim directed the video shot at a family reunion in North Carolina. In the video, the band have a picnic with their families before performing in front of them. Check it out below.
In anticipation of Father’s Day, the band have also shared a site where you can send an e-card with the video to the fathers important to you.
Future Islands will play their 1,000th show on July 26 in Carrboro, North Carolina. The lineup for the celebration also includes Dan Deacon and Danny Brown.
