GTA V Sells Nearly $1 Billion Within First 24 Hours of Release (@RockstarGames)

Grand Theft Auto V’s sales have already come within reach of hitting the $1 billion mark after having been released for just 24 hours.  It’s a certified best-seller with over $800 million already sold after it was released on Tuesday, September 17th.  These sales numbers are the highest in Grand Theft Auto history, and they will surely rise to even greater amounts as time carries on.  It’ll be interesting to see how much GTA V has sold after being out for a full week.
