Renowned Hip-Hop jeweler Johnny Dang a.k.a. “TV Johnny”, may lose out on a hefty six figure payment due to a bet he made with customers for the NBA All-Star Game. Johnny, who became highly popular among the Hip-Hop community due to his work with Paul Wall making loads of customized grills and other flashy and expensive jewelry, could lose up to $200,000 from the bet he made.
ESPN.com reported that Dang made a bet with customers who bought one of his custom watches, that if the Eastern Conference defeated the West in the NBA All-Star Game, he would offer those who purchased the watches a chance to get a full refund and keep the watch, so long as they have a receipt to confirm the initial purchase. Customers who wish to get their money back will have to make the exchange on Friday, February 21st. The Eastern Conference wound up winning the game 163-155, so TV Johnny might have to take a hit on his merchandise for this one, but maybe some customers won’t return to get their money back.
