Kanye West isn’t going the traditional route to promote his new album, “Yeezus,” and is instead relying on several pop-up installations to get the buzz growing. After giving a memorable performance at NYC’s Governors Ball over the weekend, Kanye reportedly went to Brooklyn to shoot an “American Psycho” inspired video.
An insider told In Touch magazine, “Kanye spent the weekend shooting an American Psycho-inspired video in Brooklyn with Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheban. Jonathan actually gets killed in the end. Kanye wants the video to go viral and drum up more publicity for his album.”
During his Governors Ball performance Kanye said he wasn’t worried about album sales just as long as his fans appreciated the music.
