Kendrick Lamar Appears in Promo for ABC's "Black-ish"

ABC’s sitcom “Black-ish” is in the midst of its second season. In a new promo, the kids of the show decide they need to make a music video to become an “overnight viral sensation.” So, they recruit Kendrick Lamar for a cameo. The video features clips from the show, along with the cast and Kendrick rapping “Alright” while he eats out of a big red bowl on a couch. Watch it below, via Rap-Up.

Coincidentally, “Black-ish” was one of the Obamas’ favorite TV shows of 2015. President Obama’s choice for song of the year was Kendrick’s To Pimp a Butterfly cut “How Much a Dollar Cost.”

Kendrick has had a busy week. He appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” where he debuted “Untitled 2.” Kanye West then previewed a snippet of a song with Kendrick called “No More Parties in LA.” And tonight, Kendrick is scheduled to make his “Austin City Limits” debut.
