Out of all the responses to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse, Brooklyn rapper Papoose had one of the finest. In his scathing response to Kendrick, he spits a line referring to the TDE rapper getting “curved by Nia Long.”
The incident Pap refers to went down at the 2013 BET Awards, during an interview with T.I. and Nia Long. A smiling Kendrick Lamar crashes the interview, dapping up Tip and the interviewer before attempting to hug Nia. Instead of a full embrace, Long just sort of looks at Kendrick in confusion and completely leaves him hanging.
