Keri Hilson and Timbaland recorded the track “I’m Sorry” last month, and Timbo explained that the song was his way of making peace with his longtime friend Jay Z after they’d had a falling out. It was also implied that Hilson was attempting to smooth over a beef between her and Jay’s superstar wife, Beyonce. But according to Hilson, that may not be exactly what was going on. “There’s really nothing more to tell about that song. There’s really nothing to be said about it,” she said. “What I will say, is the way Tim represented my verse is a little off. It’s not something I want to talk about right now.
