Kid Cudi took a page out of the Beyonce playbook and dropped his latest project, “Kid Cudi Presents Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon,” on iTunes with very little warning.
The Cleveland rapper gave his fans a little notice a couple of hours before the album’s midnight release when he tweeted, “Time to make the world stand still,” followed by “1 hour til launch…BOARDING!,” and finally “The date says April 29 2014 but that’s a glitch. Or is it 🙂 ALBUM AVAILABLE NOW.” In the final tweet, Cudi included a link to the album on iTunes.
The album will only be available in its entirety for one week as a full album purchase.
