Kim Gordon Talks Nirvana, Bikini Kill, Yoko Ono, More on BBC 6 Music Show

This March, Iggy Pop secured a permanent slot on BBC 6 Music, hosting a weekly Friday night radio show. Since Iggy couldn’t make it tonight, Kim Gordon sat in–see above for a vintage pic of the pair together. Gordon, who’s promoting her memoir Girl in a Band, discussed growing up in the “police state” of Los Angeles, before falling in love with the city’s punk and hardcore scene, then New York no wave, Seattle grunge, the Carpenters, riot grrrl, Yoko Ono, and plenty more.
