Lady Gaga vs Perez Hilton

Pop superstar Lady Gaga and pop culture blogger Perez Hilton got into a spat on Twitter yesterday (August 19th) that began when Hilton made a snide remark about Gaga’s new single falling behind Katy Perry’s latest hit.

“Surprised?” Hilton tweeted, along with the news of Gaga and Perry’s singles. That was enough to prompt a subtweet from Gaga.

“Still have the text Perez sent of me in a wheelchair w the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident,” she tweeted. Her rabid fanbase then began going after Hilton, but Gaga tried to call them back. “Please monsters do not be affected by someone like this NOTHING merits this kind of hatred. Im ok & I always survive. Ignore him. Just Dance.”
