Broken Equipment Productions made a spoof of Yasiin Bey, the artist formerly known as Mos Def, about wearing a “skirt,’ which he revealed was a Kente Cloth from Ghana, his new home. The video pokes fun at rappers wearing what many have perceived to be “skirts” in recent months, including Kanye West, Trinidad James, and most recently actor Omar Epps.
