N.W.A. Members Reunite at BET Experience

As promised, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella reunited as N.W.A. for the first time in over two decades last night. It was as part of the BET Experience live in Los Angeles. It was the first time Ice Cube performed with Yella since 1989 and with MC Ren since 2000. (Unfortunately, Dr. Dre didn’t show up.) N.W.A.’s other core member, Eazy-E, died in 1995.

That night also featured performances from Snoop and all four members of TDE’s Black Hippy stable—Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock.
