“SMRF”, is a native of Louisiana and has been steadily building his name and carving his lane in the music scene. What started out as a part-time hobby, at age 13, quickly became an all-out passion, to make legendary music with a classic appeal, full-time. Drawing from varying spectrum of inspirations, such as, T-Pain, Drake, Lil Wayne, Lecrae, and Fred Hammond, SMRF is creating an epically diverse selection of music, ranging from Pop, Trance, Hip-Hop, Indie, and Soul. There is much to look out for from this rising star!
SMRF recently released an engaging record entitled, “AYE” that embodies his process of creating feel good music, in a catchy and memorable way. SMRF shared how important perseverance is especially in an industry as cutthroat as the music industry tends to be, saying, “This song is about the importance of remaining strong. Having the confidence in my ability to overcome, while maintaining patience until my time comes.”
