On Alexander Wang’s 10th anniversary runway (it seems 2015 is a major year for so many designers), his collection was inspired by what is “in” now, including frayed denim cutoffs, dungarees and even an updated baseball jacket. Ending his show with his signature runway sprint fit perfectly with the high-intensity theme.

As expected Lacoste went with a very sports-influenced theme, but that is to be expected from the brand named after tennis great Rene Lacoste, and that will dress the French Olympic theme in Rio next year.

Lesson of NYFW day 3: sporty is in for spring.
