Papoose Explains Taking Summer Jam Stage Unannounced (@Papooseonline)

The Brooklyn emcee called into New York’s Hot 97 to discuss his surprise performance at Summer Jam XX. While radio station personality Peter Rosenberg claims he knew Papoose was going to take the stage, station program manager Ebro admits the move caught him completely off guard.

Papoose says he got up onstage because he was invited by Kendrick Lamar, whose set was just ending.
