Friday, January 24th marked the unprecedented launch party for Beats Music. Held held at Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles, Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre brought out many celebrities to party it up. The top secret list of performers was revealed to a crowd that included Paul McCartney, Drake, Paris Hilton, Macklemore, Selena Gomez, Zoe Kravitz, Nicole Scherzinger, Queen Latifah, Benji Madden, Travis Barker, Austin Mahone and many more.
The night’s performers included Dr. Dre himself, who was joined by none other than Eminem to close the show, Diddy and Ma$e, Ice Cube, Nas, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Redman and Method Man, Cypress Hill, Geto Boys, Busta Rhymes, Blackstreet, Souls of Mischief and Pharcyde with DJ Jazzy Jeff on the 1’s and 2’s with guest host Fab Five Freddy.
