Even before Baz Luhrmann’s interpretation of “The Great Gatsby” came out in May of this year, there was much buzz about the star-studded film. Aside from musical direction from Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio playing the lead role, a lot of the excitement was around what the actual film would look like.
The roaring 20s were beautifully captured in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic book and Catherine Martin, wife of Luhrmann and the costume/production designer for the film did an impeccable job. Watch our interview with the design genius above!
