Wisconsin barbarian Taiyamo Denku takes a time out from working on material with CyphaDenMusic’s Dcypha and switches gears over to his Hecatomb crew affiliates for the explosive “TAKEOVERDRIVE”. This follows up his last single, the Jadakiss featured, “Life Like This”. Crew member Imaginary Friend (aka Murderface) handles the production of this release, flipping chops from one of The Doors classic cuts, “Five To One”. This is the same song sampled on Jay-Z’s “Takeover” record but on steroids. Catch the cover art where the semi truck from the movie “Maximum Overdrive” was featured. As usually, Denku delivers masterful wordplay speaking on subjects such as the current state of softness in Hip Hop and the dumbing down of content.
