Charles Pope, father of Tameka “Tiny” Harris and original member of The Tams, has passed away at his home in Atlanta on Friday. Freddy-O broke the news, revealing that Pope had long dealt with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Tiny showed love for her father in the past on her Instagram page and on her show “Tiny and Toya,” where they aired a Alzheimer’s benefit that Tiny’s father performed at with his group. She sent out a message to her followers today, saying “Thanks to all my friends & family for coming to see me & praying for me. I really appreciate the Love! Blessings.. #MyGuy.”
The 76-year-old is survived by his wife Dianne Pope, and his children: Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Albert “Little Redd” Cottle, and Michelle Pope. Hit the above slide to view a touching message Tiny posted on Father’s Day:
