The Teen Choice Awards always bring a lot of risk-taking, boundary-pushing style to the blue carpet, but this year, some of the most noteworthy looks were spotted inside the stadium instead. If you only got your TCA updates by scanning Twitter, check out the dresses you missed (but have gotta see) from the show itself.
Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic (2); AKm-GSI
First (as always) is Britney Spears, who accented her newly-green-and-purple tips (they were formerly just purple) with a Mikael D dress that had a super-low neckline and sheer panels on the bodice, plus a high-low hem. Silver sandals, Jennifer Meyer earrings and a surfboard (her award for winning “Candie’s Choice Style Icon”) completed the look.

Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell joined their Pretty Little Liars costars Janel Parish and Lucy Hale onstage to accept six surfboards for their show. Benson wore an understated (but still seriously sexy) midnight blue Amanda Wakeley dress with red lips and barely-there Tamara Mellon sandals. And Mitchell showed off her legs in a gold-buttoned blazer dress with a metallic belt, strappy silver Giuseppe Zanotti Design sandals and Graziela Gem ear cuffs.
