When Rihanna noticed that the retail store Topshop was selling a new t-shirt with her face on it, she decided the only sensible action was to sue. She did just that, and won the suit back in July.
In recent developments, a judge has officially ordered Topshop to pay RiRi almost $1.5 million for her legal fees, and also demanded the shop return any unsold shirts. They even have to pay the singer at least 200,000 British pounds within two weeks.
A representative for Topshop reportedly stated they were “surprised and disappointed by the judgment.”
