Adele’s comeback is complete, with the release of her music video for “Hello,” her first in three years.
The song is emotional and intimate, and we wouldn’t expect anything less from the British singer. Shot in Montreal, the Adele made technological history with her music video, because despite the use of a flip phone in the video, as it is the first shot by IMAX cameras. Starring ‘90210’ star Tristan Wilds, Adele looks and sounds better than ever as she reconnects with her ex-lover. Seriously, her eyeliner game is stronger than ever.
After releasing the first single from her upcoming album ’25,’ Adele told the BBC that she wasn’t feeling any pressure to beat her last album ’21,’ which earned her six Grammy awards. “Because of my last album, because of what it went on to do, it was kind of a write-off to ever expect anything with this album, the new one, like that. So actually it made it easier… It’s phenomenal what happened with that but it is a phenomenon. I can’t really include it in any expectations of anything I ever do again.”
Adele also announced her new album release date is set for November 20.
In the meantime, we will be watching “Hello” on repeat.
