Bad timing overshadowed one of Wheel of Fortune’s puzzles last night. Paul Walker, the famous actor who was greatly loved by many for his years of work spent on “The Fast and the Furious” franchise, tragically passed away in a fiery car accident just days ago on November 30th. Unfortunately, last night, December 2nd, Wheel of Fortune decided to air an episode that they had recorded back on October 4th, which included a puzzle with “The Fast and the Furious” as the answer.
The Wheel of Fortune Twitter account was quick to issue an apology for the “unfortunate coincidence.” Pat Sajak, the host of Wheel, also posted a tweet expressing his own grief that the show aired that particular episode right after Paul’s death.
