Most people believe it’s cruel to leave a dog in a car for too long, but one Florida woman seemingly felt it was alright to leave her two children in the car while she went to a concert.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office said Brittany Harris abandoned her 3-year-old and 5-year-old children in her car, while she headed to Cruzan Amphitheatre to see Lil Wayne. An employee at the venue saw the two children alone in the car around 7 p.m., and ended up speaking to them when he saw them again around 9:45 pm. When he found out the children were left unsupervised for all that time, authorities were called and the children were brought to PBSO deputies.
Harris was arrested on two counts of child neglect. The children were allowed to leave the vehicle as well, and were thought to have explored the parking lot populated by about 9,000 people.
