A source close to Young Thug told Complex that the Atlanta rapper was arrested on Tuesday (Feb. 25), but added that details surrounding the situation are still vague. It was reported that the arrest “started as a traffic violation,” but are suspected to have elevated to something more serious.
Atlanta Police Department isn’t giving out details surrounding the arrest, but details should become available in the near future.
Young Thug shot to fame in recent months, with his singles “Stoner” and “Danny Glover” gaining momentum, and the former making Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. He also made waves after announcing that he had signed a deal with Cash Money.
