Planning on walking down the aisle any time soon? If you are, how does it make you feel to know you could be wearing a Zac Posen wedding gown on your big day? Before you can say “that’s never happening,” think again–the designer has teamed up with bridal mainstay David’s Bridal for a collection that will feature everything from The Dress and accessories to wedding wear for the bridal party.
The collection, Truly Zac Posen, launches February 6 online and in David’s Bridal stores. Expect lots of the American fashion designer’s signature glamour–think romantic fabrics like tulle and satin–in seven to-die-for styles. Each style is available in plus sizes, as well. Bonus? The price range is insanely affordable, with dresses falling somewhere in the $850 to $1,350 range.
So, an iconic wedding dress at a a fraction of standard designer costs? We’re thinking that’s a pretty good recipe for Running of the Brides version 2.0.
Posen, in addition to his collaboration with David’s Bridal, also released a musical lookbook via his Spotify account that integrates music to styles from his ZAC Zac Posen Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Each look syncs up to a two- or three-song playlist featuring music Posen was inspired by while designing them. The music hosting platform will also release playlists that correspond to styles from his upcoming David’s Bridal and eyewear lines as well. We definitely recommend cranking up the volume whilst browsing your dream wedding dress online.
