At this point, bodychains are NBD in Hollywood — Jennifer Aniston loves to bring the accessory to the red carpet and Gwyneth Paltrow is always sporting one with her bikini. But thanks to Zoë Kravitz, we’ve now been introduced to a new category of body jewelry. On a recent trip to Miami, Kravitz accessorized her sexy black bikini with silver shin chains. Or maybe, shin necklaces? See the unique accessories below.
The star hit the beach wearing a sexy lingerie-inspired La Perla two-piece with a string design overlay that matched her strappy chain-link body piece.
She also wore a small cross pendant necklace, sparkly statement rings, a silver cuff bracelet and arm band. On the bottom, she sported two shin guard harnesses that wrapped around from the top of her calves to her ankles. (She was spotted wading in the water, so they can apparently handle the surf!)

Kravitz is a known style and beauty risk-taker (just like her dad, rocker Lenny Kravitz), and she’s clearly not afraid to experiment with new trends.
She’s also very open and candid about struggles she’s faced in the past. In April, she told PEOPLE she suffered from an on-again-off-again eating disorder in her teens.
“It was really, really bad in high school,” she shared. “When I was 16, 17, 18, it was at its worst and it trickled into my early 20s.”
And those issues resurfaced while filming her latest role as an anorexic girl in the film The Road Within. She admitted her weight loss and gain was a hard transition. “It definitely jolted me back in some ways into that world and it was hard to gain the weight back and want to gain the weight back,” she said. “I would gain a few pounds and people would be like ‘Oh, you gained a few pounds!’ and it would trigger whatever that cycle was that wanted to control that.”
But today, she shared that she’s “coming into a place where I’m trying to love myself more and not let that affect me. This is the way I’m made and this is it, so I’m going to go with it.”
