Danny Singh Turns Love & Temptation Into A Cinematic Spiral With “Call For Takeout”

A story can unfold faster than a relationship can keep up. New York’s genre-blurring artist Danny Singh finds that tension on his new three-track EP Call For Takeout. The compact project moves through love, temptation, and regret in rapid succession. The release showcases Singh’s evolving PUNK&B style, blending the emotional pull of R&B with the restless edge of punk-inspired energy while drifting between melodic vulnerability and brash confidence. The EP offers a brief but vivid snapshot of Singh’s storytelling instincts, where relationships unravel in real time.

That narrative expands visually through a short film produced by A Childish Productions, which brings the EP’s themes to life in a cinematic sequence. The film opens with a tense phone conversation between Singh and a partner questioning why he never seems to be around. As he insists he’s working, the story slides into the opening track Sneakin N Geekin, featuring RX 2doe of the RX Papi collective. Scenes of distraction and indulgence gradually reveal the truth behind his day, setting the stage for the reflective shift of Deepend. By the time the story reaches the closing track Falling4u, the emotional stakes have fully surfaced. In just over four minutes, the short film traces the highs and lows of a relationship spiraling toward its breaking point. Stream the EP here, watch the short film, and connect with Danny Singh on Instagram and TikTok.
