Star Bandz Lights Up Chicago With “Yea Yea (Remix)” Feat. Veeze

Star Bandz, is back with a bang! Dropping the highly anticipated remix of her breakout single, Yea Yea, it now features fellow rapper Veeze. Directed by Sergio Esparza, the music video is a raw and vibrant portrayal of Chicago’s south side suburbs, packed with muscle cars, street scenes, and the relentless energy which defines Star Bandz’s sound. At just 16, Star Bandz’s sharp lyricism and bold style are already making waves in the drill scene, and this remix solidifies her as a rising star you don’t want to miss. Speaking about her success, Star Bandz shared:
I’ve always wanted to represent where I’m from, and ‘Yea Yea’ is just the beginning of what I’m bringing to the table.
Veeze also commented on the collaboration, saying:
Working with Star Bandz was mad real – she’s got that fire that’s going to change the game.
Media outlets like Complex have taken notice, naming Star Bandz one of the 13 Best Teenage Rappers Right Now, and highlighted her verse on “Yea Yea” as one of the Best Rap Verses of 2024. As she prepares for her debut project Estrella, set to drop on November 8, fans can expect more of her unapologetic drill sound.
