Young Miko Unleashes Swagger, Seduction, & Power With “WASSUP”

As her first solo release of 2025, Young Miko is back and louder than ever, dropping the unapologetic anthem WASSUP. Fueled by booming basslines, crisp percussion, and early-2000s nostalgia, the track flips Lil Wayne’s Lollipop hook into a bold, feel-yourself flex. Produced by longtime collaborator Mauro, “WASSUP” is packed with razor-sharp bars, signature wit, and an undeniable energy that makes it impossible not to move. Directed by Joshua Rivera and Claudia Calderón, the “WASSUP” video matches the song’s fearless spirit, blending dynamic VFX with throwback nods to hip-hop’s golden age. Set in an empty Puerto Rican studio that transforms into a personal hype arena, Young Miko stunts with jewelry flashes, retro BMW shots, and playful cameos, including Mauro as a referee calling a red card. Capped off with a surprise Lil Jon cameo, the track bridges generations of swagger and cements Young Miko’s place at the forefront of global Latin trap. From voicing Tiffany in the animated film Sneaks to electrifying major stages at Coachella and Governors Ball, she’s defining a new era of Latin artistry. Let us know your thoughts on the official video to “Wassup” below.
