ShaVazz Johnson, the independent artist who is also known for his performance name “ShaVazz the Weirdo”, discusses the role of the internet in the music industry and how it has impacted peoples’ lives. ShaVazz Johson is an African-American musician, rapper, and songwriter – who aims to inspire people through his music. The artist has been a part of the medium ever since he was a kid.

“Music’s been in my blood from a young kid. I believe I was born this way.” Says ShaVazz. After returning from his hiatus, the young artist released his debut EP titled The Weirdos Project which proved to be a massive hit. The EP is an eclectic new 3 track EP from ShaVazz and people can’t get enough. It starts from ‘racecar’ that starts things on a high and ends with ‘Love You Better’ which brings the EP to an anthemic finish, leading with a brighter soundscape. ShaVazz creates his music from the heart and this stands tall throughout the tracks on his debut album.

While discussing how the internet and social media has changed the face of the music industry, the artist shared how it has helped youngsters achieve their goals more easily, and find like-minded individuals like themselves to work on a passion project or any art form, and also form friendly bonds. “The internet has saved a lot of lives and makes it a lot easier for people to obtain goals and the attention they need to be successful. I love it,” says ShaVazz. Johnson is a big advocate of originality and uplifting others through his music. If it hadn’t been music, he would’ve definitely opted for motivational speaking. He wants to heal people through his medium and also has other plans to inspire the youth.

“I would be speaking to the youth every day on how one decision can change their life forever and spreading positivity in the world which I’m doing at the moment while doing my music,” shares ShaVazz.
