Rising R&B-inspired artist SZN is ready for the world to hear what he is made of. Hailing from the hometown of the Megan Thee Stallion Houston, Texas, his southern upbringing is preparing him to lead a lasting imapct on the music business. SZN has officially released his new single “Bastard”.
As he is multi culturally influenced, the Jamaican born artist pulls from his roots with influences from Vybez Kartel, Partynextdoor, J.Cole, Drake, and many others.
The Houston native fell in love with Hip-Hop at a very young age, when his older cousin brought home 50 Cents album “Get Rich Or Die Trying” which sparked his love for Hip- Hop.  In this way, inspired his idea of how music should sound like such as “Candy Shop” by 50 Cent with the smooth melodies an clever rhyme schemes.
Furthermore with the debut Mixtape of “So Far Gone” by Drake, has impacted SZN’s sound sonically and musically. The dark emo sound appealed to the self taught Trap-Soul Artist.
With this new single he is in a lane of his own and it necessary. SZN is on the pace to be the next Bryson Tiller. Stream “Bastardhere.

My upcoming EP is called Love and Pain. It’s about working out the balance between nurturing a relationship with someone I love while pushing forward with my ambitions in music. The project was created with a guerrilla style approach during the pandemic. The isolation occurred at the same time that I was going through a break up so I created three songs that speak to the love I had and three more about dealing with the loss.” – B.V.M
