It seems as though there is no rest for the talented. Jason Wu, having just got married in Tulum, Mexico, is back at work armed with a huge announcement.

On Tuesday, the designer took to Instagram to shout about his new sister label, #GREYJasonWu. “Introducing #GREYJasonWu a new sister label I’ve created that has been under wraps for the last 12 months,” he announced on Instagram. It’s admirable to know that not only was the creative whizz planning a wedding and upholding his already existing and successful namesake brand, but Wu was also churning away at a fresh new line.

Wu released a few sketches on Instagram, as well as “Grey” woolen labels.

The new range which is inspired by his friends, and the need to provide chic basics, boasts a staple color palette of black, denim blue, cream, forest green and red.

From his drawings we already have our eyes on the pale grey culottes paired with the black sweatshirt, and if you’re wondering what shoes we’d wear, then you guessed it right; point-toe, suede heels! If you’re loving the denim dress and are wondering how to wear that, may we suggest a leather jacket draped over the shoulders, and a pair of white sneakers (You’re welcome).

From what we can see, #GREYJasonWu is definitely a brand we will be keeping our eyes on as we think it has a lot of promise in the flesh. No word on the price point yet, but knowing the CFDA-applauded designer, it will be a the utmost quality.

GREY Jason Wu will be available as of June 15th at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman and Greyjasonwu.com.

Kazon’s ‘My Brother’: A Harmonious Tale of Redemption and Advocacy

Published

on

In the bustling streets of Southeast, Washington DC, rapper Kazon’s latest offering, “My Brother,” emerges as a symphony of redemption and advocacy, resonating with audiences far and wide.

Kazon’s path to musical stardom has been fraught with obstacles, from brushes with the law to a brush with death that left him scarred but unbroken. Through it all, he credits his resilience to the belief that every setback is an opportunity for growth.

With “My Brother,” Kazon takes on the role of a lyrical mentor, offering guidance and solace to Black youth grappling with violence and systemic oppression. Through heartfelt verses and melodic refrains, he shares his own journey of redemption, using his past mistakes as a catalyst for change.

At its core, “My Brother” is a call to action—a plea for unity, love, and advocacy within the Black community. Kazon’s harmonious tale serves as a reminder that through solidarity and advocacy, we can effect real change and pave the way for a brighter future.

As the final notes of “My Brother” fade into the ether, Kazon’s message lingers: every trial is a testament to our strength, and every mistake is a chance to do better. Through his music, he invites us to join him in a journey of redemption and advocacy—one that holds the promise of a more just and equitable world for all.
