Summer is finally here! I don’t know about you guys but I am super excited to take out the sun hats and lounge in bikinis all day! I recently took a trip to the Dominican Republic and thought it would be a good idea to share some tips with you.

The Airport Outfit

When choosing an airport outfit you want to make sure you remember some key things about flying.

Tip 1: Choose comfy cloths. The last thing you want is to be sitting in a flight with some tight jeans on. I chose to wear a super comfy white crop top from Charlotte Russe with black high waisted leggings from Forever 21, you can never go wrong with comfy but super stylish leggings.

Tip 2: Throw on a jacket, no matter where you’re going. We all know it can get pretty chilly on those flights. I went with a chic royal blue leather jacket from Nordstrom Rack.

Tip 3: Wear shoes that require socks. Don’t forget some airports still require you to take your shoes off and I can’t even fathom the thought of stepping on that floor completely barefoot! I chose my Original Superstar Adidas.

Tourist Adventure Attire

I had the pleasure of staying in one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Dominican Republic, called Casa de Campo and wasted no time to go sight seeing the first chance I got.

Tip 1: If you know you’ll be walking a lot, wear stylish but comfy shoes so your feet don’t hurt after a while. I went with some gold gladiators from Forever 21.

Tip 2: You want to pick out an outfit that’s comfortable enough for the activity you will be doing. Knowing I would be walking outside in the heat of the beautiful Dominican Republic, I went with a comfy romper also from Forever 21.

Tip 3: Protect your face. You want to make sure you pack plenty of sunglasses and beach hats to protect yourself from the sun! Like the one I wore from a local Miami boutique called Electric Boutique and my Quay Australia sunnies.

Pool & Beach Outfit

The pool and beach go together like peanut butter and jelly. They’re practically the same place just add some sand in one and you have a beach. When deciding what to wear for these locations you can go with two looks, the effortless maxi skirt for easy take off/put on or the tropical jumper to add edge incase you find yourself at the bar having an unexpected lunch date with a cutie! Below are a few tips you can turn to.

Tip 1: Grab pieces that are easy take off/put on. No one wants to wear a complicated outfit to the pool/beach. I went with an easy maxi skirt paired with a cute crop to add detail to the outfit and/or a strapless jumper all from a local boutique in Miami called Electric Boutique.

Tip 2: Wear stylish slip-on sandals. I went with some brown wrap up and/or gold two strap sandals both from Steve Madden. Always pack flip flops just in case it gets late and you don’t feel like wasting time tying buckles or strings.

Tip 3: Put on that beach hat and sunglasses. I’m obsessed with sunglasses and beach hats, so for me they are essentials. I chose the same beach hat from the local Miami boutique Electric and two different shades, rose gold from Quay Australia and blue aviators from Ray-Ban.

I hope this helps you style blazing travelers for the summer, comment down below on your thoughts.

Hip Hop beef may be back, but the antics are on another level. Rick Ross didn’t take Drake’s recent dis track Push-Ups lightly. Rozay immediately took to the studio to comeback at the ‘white boy’ with a dis of his own entitled Champagne Moments. The MMG CEO explains that he is on a different level of gangster and the Instagram antics can’t get him out of a luxurious seat in his private hanger. While exposing fandom audio, switchable accusations, and fake body parts, Rozay says this beef has to end face to face. Let us know your thoughts on the official video below. Kazon’s ‘My Brother’: A Harmonious Tale of Redemption and Advocacy

Published

on

In the bustling streets of Southeast, Washington DC, rapper Kazon’s latest offering, “My Brother,” emerges as a symphony of redemption and advocacy, resonating with audiences far and wide.

Kazon’s path to musical stardom has been fraught with obstacles, from brushes with the law to a brush with death that left him scarred but unbroken. Through it all, he credits his resilience to the belief that every setback is an opportunity for growth.

With “My Brother,” Kazon takes on the role of a lyrical mentor, offering guidance and solace to Black youth grappling with violence and systemic oppression. Through heartfelt verses and melodic refrains, he shares his own journey of redemption, using his past mistakes as a catalyst for change.

At its core, “My Brother” is a call to action—a plea for unity, love, and advocacy within the Black community. Kazon’s harmonious tale serves as a reminder that through solidarity and advocacy, we can effect real change and pave the way for a brighter future.

As the final notes of “My Brother” fade into the ether, Kazon’s message lingers: every trial is a testament to our strength, and every mistake is a chance to do better. Through his music, he invites us to join him in a journey of redemption and advocacy—one that holds the promise of a more just and equitable world for all.
