Published

on

Danxx Twinz recently dropped the visual “Space Suit” off their new album “Welcome To Smokingham Palace”.

Comprised of solid rhythmic tones in the track’s consistent beat structure complimented by eyebrow raising vocal melodies, “Space Suite” encompasses a futuristic aura in its post-production textures with a signature sound that shares reminiscences of old school Hip Hop vibes, something that solidifies this track with very innovative angles of both equal parts originality and familiarity; giving their fans a fresh listening experience blended with a perfect dose of nostalgia. The melodic vocals are not only intelligently crafted, but contagiously catchy as well. The witty lyrical outbursts and versatile rhyming techniques really carry the torch perfectly over a beat as solid as the one this track offers in particular, showcasing the precision in songwriting that is not only consistently present throughout the track’s duration, but the attentiveness to detail as well. With 6k The Producer at the helm of the engineer’s chair teamed up with the crafty and charismatic vocal talent of The DanxxTwin laying down the measures as a collective unit, it’s songs like “Space Suite” that truly demonstrates the hit making abilities the Danxx Twinz really have.

Danxx Twin Music is made up of pure vibes! Born and raised in Chicago, IL, The Twinz (Danxx Twin x 6k The Producer) found ways to focus on a music career and avoid the constant conflicts of their city. They set out to develop a personal and insightful approach to songwriting, creating compelling tracks that strike a chord for their balance of witty lyrics and memorable melodies. In an industry where many musicians seem to follow the same age-old cliches, it is refreshing to come across an artist who uses music as a means of self-expression, connecting with the audience on a much deeper level. All about the vibes

Sherif – “Illusion”

Published

By

Virginia-by-way-of-Eygpt recording artist Sherif prepares to share his uttermost deepest thoughts on his upcoming album, which shares its first single with the release of the new song “Illusion” today. Out now, the song is a spell-binding experience that has the rising star questioning his feelings about new beauty and her intentions. The song pulls influence from personal experience and a wide variety of R&B classics.

“I called it Illusion because I felt like this woman was an illusion in my mind, in the sense that my idea of us and our reality were so far removed,” he says about the song’s concept. “The song is about the grey area in a relationship where both parties need to reach a conclusion on where they stand, which inevitably results in their demise. I was inspired by Prince and his many tales of unrequited love, and I shouted out Frank Ocean’s Bad Religion on the chorus because I also drew inspiration from that song conceptually.”

“Illusion” prepares the forthcoming release of Sherif new album, What It’s Like To Be Human, which drops 2022 — independently. Following 2020’s debut album, The AfterParty, What It’s Like To Be Human to me is all about the human condition and the most basic elements of raw emotion that we all feel. With love being the most powerful one, the album also dives deep into fear, doubt, anxiety, depression, heartbreak, lust, jealousy, paranoia and loyalty. This is the most personal I have ever been on a record and I wanted to reach a certain level of vulnerability where people could listen and be like “Damn, I was feeling the exact same way I just didn’t know how to say it.”
