J.I. Asks You To “Excuse My Pain” On A New Single

Published

Expressions of pain and guilt aren’t easy to get across, especially in a music landscape that regards them as cliché. That said, a prodigious songwriter with a sincere voice can still get the feelings across. And in Excuse my Pain, J.I. expresses his remorse with unprecedented vitriol and force. Accompanied by an unrelenting beat, the 19-year-old rapper’s lyrics demand his listener’s attention. And in the video, Scarface-inspired visuals create a mood that is both tortured and haunting.

Excuse my Pain is the latest track released in anticipation of J.I’s upcoming project, Hood Life Krisis Vol 3. If the new single is any indication, fans should eagerly await the album’s release. Excuse my Pain’s official music video, directed by Kid Art, can be streamed down below. Fans can also connect with J.I on Instagram, and Twitter.
