Hailing from Hackensack, New Jersey and born to Jamaican parents, 8aint’s first love is music as he grew up in a family with aspiring artists and creatives with different taste. But with his older brother being heavily involved in the local hip hop scene while growing up, 8aint would eventually follow in his brother’s footsteps and pursue music. While growing up in his hometown, he would team up with his best friends and formed the crew, Straight To The Point.
As soon as you hear 8aint’s voice, you can hear an east coast lyricist who’s confident, honest, and very self-aware. Over production that ranges from trap to boom bap, 8aint wants to make sure that every time he raps, he delivers the message of living good, smoking good, and being successful while remaining true to yourself. 8aint now feels that the Clips series would be the best way to showcase his take on modern east coast hip hop.

“I decided to come up with the Clips series because it’s a collection of EPs that will only have 4-5 songs each project. With each clip being so short, it’s not enough music to get you high but it’s enough to get a buzz.” says 8aint.

Led by “Decimate” and “Ascension”, the new 4-track EP is a follow up to his release Clips Vol. 2 (released March 2018). “Paradise” and Clips Vol. 3 is out now, so go ahead and hit play below.

The MMG CEO explains that he is on a different level of gangster and the Instagram antics can’t get him out of a luxurious seat in his private hanger. Kazon’s ‘My Brother’: A Harmonious Tale of Redemption and Advocacy

Published

on

In the bustling streets of Southeast, Washington DC, rapper Kazon’s latest offering, “My Brother,” emerges as a symphony of redemption and advocacy, resonating with audiences far and wide.

Kazon’s path to musical stardom has been fraught with obstacles, from brushes with the law to a brush with death that left him scarred but unbroken. Through it all, he credits his resilience to the belief that every setback is an opportunity for growth.

With “My Brother,” Kazon takes on the role of a lyrical mentor, offering guidance and solace to Black youth grappling with violence and systemic oppression. Through heartfelt verses and melodic refrains, he shares his own journey of redemption, using his past mistakes as a catalyst for change.

At its core, “My Brother” is a call to action—a plea for unity, love, and advocacy within the Black community. Kazon’s harmonious tale serves as a reminder that through solidarity and advocacy, we can effect real change and pave the way for a brighter future.

As the final notes of “My Brother” fade into the ether, Kazon’s message lingers: every trial is a testament to our strength, and every mistake is a chance to do better. Through his music, he invites us to join him in a journey of redemption and advocacy—one that holds the promise of a more just and equitable world for all.
